Biljana Filipović Đušić, Assistant Minister for international cooperation in the Serbian Ministry of Environmental protection and member of WISE expert network, has become a member of the European Environment and Health Task Force (EHTF) Bureau, the task force’s managing body. She was also elected to co-chair the European Environment and Health Process (EHP), as the first-ever Serbian representative.

“Appointment to the EHTF Bureau and the EEHP co-chairing position I don’t see solely as a support to Serbia in the process closely linked to the European integration, but also as an incentive for further improvements in the field of environment, with the financial and expert support of the United Nations and representatives of European countries”, Biljana Filipović Đušić told Balkan Green Energy News.

Biljana Filipović Đušić has been working for the Serbian Ministry of Environmental Protection since 1992. In 20014 Filipović Đušić has been appointed the Head of Department for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection. She holds BSc in Landscape Architecture and Masters’ degree from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade.
